  1. Happy Birthday!!

  2. Happy Birthday!

  3. I was doing something like this on GoogleHangout awhile back. It worked alright, but this sounds like it will be better.
  4. *Sigh* Should have known it would have been an eroge full of sex and no plot. Profound disappointment. Dropped.
  5. Oh a new one coming soon? I might as well delay then. Not like I will have time with Thanksgiving and working round the clock during the holidays.
  6. Alright someone delete this thread.
  7. I recently got a friend to agree to help my attempt and translate Figu@Mate (because I'm sick of waiting for people to translate it)...but I can't find the damn thing anywhere. Anyone know of any non-dead downloads? EDIT: Why is it that I spend an hour looking for something, post about not being able to find it, then find it 5 minutes later. Now I gotta figure out how the hell to actually start translating it. There any tutorials out there? DOUBLE EDIT: Of course, I ask that and I find this like 2 seconds later: http://visualnovelaer.wordpress.com/2012/07/01/a-revolution-for-fan-translation-it-is-now-possible-to-sub-any-visual-novel-without-hacking/. (Thanks Aaeru)
  8. Finally bought a PS Vita. Went over to a friends, then drank a whole bunch in their front yard handing out candy. Great night overall.
  9. I'm not good with scary thing >_>. How disturbing/frightening is it?
  10. ...but you can't have more that one true end that doesn't make any sense... It would also throw off any sort of canon, ya know, in case they wanted to make a sequel (which alot of these games with true ends do have sequels). I do get your point though, give equal opportunity to every heroine.
  11. If I had such a big property I would monetize it and live like a king with disregard to the fanbase. Creative control is important if you have artistic vision, but money is money. And money is always nice.
  12. If he was smart he would monetize his product on a larger level. Money is the name of the game folks. Just think if a Touhou game had the budget of say a Cave game (not sure on either but Cave games look more well produced). Better art could just be the start.
  13. I'm skeptical on the titles they could hypothetically get. The PC version would most likely have to already be on PC in Japan, as I doubt these companies have the resources to do a full scale PS to PC port (doing a PS to PS port is probably much easier and feasible). The likelihood of a large mainstream JRPG release on PC (ex. Persona, an actually good SquareEnix game) sounds like it would be very low. Then again, I have no idea but it sounds crazy to hope for anything "modern".
  14. Not sure about visual novel fans and Touhou fans going hand in hand. Most of the crossover is secondary fans who only like everything surrounding Touhou and not the games themselves (not necessarily a bad thing although it can be at times). I can't blame them though, the games can get frantic and hard and they have a very steep learning curve. I enjoy how thrilling they can be and I always end up shouting "OHHHHHHHHH...DAMNIT/YES!" on just about every boss. The Touhou franchise is pretty normal by shooter standards. The only thing that really makes the games rise above the others is the mystical setting and phenomenal soundtracks. I've played plenty of shooters and I think its time for Touhou to actually step up and get on the level of some of the newer shooters. In terms of graphics and gameplay. Ten Desires was very disappointing for me. At least Touhou hasn't delved into some of the creepier games like Let’s Go! Burunyanman Portable. That one was tough to stomach. I enjoy the music remixes a whole bunch. Especially the Jazz remixes by Swing Holic, and the Tokyo Active Neets.
  15. Adult Video King sounds incredibly crazy and amazing in all the right ways, although I doubt that will ever get translated so I might as well learn Japanese so I can play it. Figu@mate is another one of those weird games that I would love to play someday. Since I personally think most anime based on games are garbage (because they are always short and never can make any progress or pick a heroine that I just absolutely loathe), it would be nice to see some of those get translated. Examples would be "They Are My Noble Masters", "Do Love Me Seriously!" (I know its being translated but very slowly), and "Final Approach" (no sexual content) are just some that I would love to play.
