Cross Channel's mc tries to be normal, that's the only way they are similar. As for a vn with a socially awkward mc I'll recommend Edelweiss.

Just powered through the last couple routes I had left to finish. If there's anything I have to say about Comyu, it's that it is one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

So far in the few days I've played Comyu I finished Benio, Hisoka, and Mayu-Mayu's route.

Michiru's route in Grisaia no Kajitsu hit a few sore spots for me and had me relive a few moments in my life I'd rather not. I wouldn't say I had gotten depressed but it was fairly close to it.

If it's during the day then I just prop myself against my chair in the living room and enjoy myself at the desktop. Sometimes if I am engrossed in reading I'll take my dinner over to the desktop and eat there. At night I lay the laptop on my stomach like I am doing right now as I am typing this.

Usually I'll glance through a walkthrough to see what type of choices there are. If it's the simple choose who you want to spend time with then I won't bother. If it's the vague, go to A or go to B then I'll probably use it. I also tend to want to avoid bad endings so when the choice comes up and it's not immediately obvious which choice leads to the good end I'll look that up.

Scariest part of my day would have to be the half hour walk from the bus transit center to my college. I have to go through a shady part of downtown to cross a bridge over to the campus and I'm always on the watch for some dude to just jump my ass.

My opinion on Date a Live is that it's a fun nonsensical anime that set out to catch all the pokemon spirits. The story isn't especially great but it's still a lot better than the average harem anime. Best girl:
